Your email address, and nothing else

This site has one thing that collects personal information: the launch news sign-up. Here's exactly what happens to it. Last updated 30 September 2026.

Who we are

Granddad's Camera is made by OakFox, a small studio in the UK. We decide what happens to your information. Write to us at hello@granddadscamera.co.uk about anything on this page.

What we keep

• Your email address.
• When you signed up and when you confirmed.
• The IP address you signed up from, so we can spot and remove bots signing up other people's addresses.

What we use it for

To email you when Granddad's Camera is out, and occasionally before then with news about the game. Nothing else. We never sell or share your address, and we don't use it for advertising. We only add you once you've clicked the link in our confirmation email; that's your consent, and you can take it back at any time.

How long we keep it

• If you never confirm, we delete your address after 30 days.
• Once you've confirmed, we keep it until you unsubscribe, or until we stop sending launch news.
• Unsubscribing deletes your address straight away. Every email has a link to do it.

Who else is involved

• Our web host runs the server that stores the list and sends the emails.
• Cloudflare Turnstile checks the sign-up form is being used by a person rather than a bot. It sees technical details of your browser, not your email address. Cloudflare's privacy policy.

There are no analytics, no tracking and no advertising on this site. The fonts are served from our own server. Your browser remembers the place and month you last picked in the almanac, on your device only.

Your rights

You can ask to see what we hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted. Email hello@granddadscamera.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
